Don't watch if you have a problem with giant statues of male members being paraded around the streets. They are paraded here in a traditional (but not typical) Japanese festival called the Kanamara matsuri. Held in Kawasaki, this is certainly a unique matsuri in terms of its theme, but the atmosphere was like any other I've been to. Lots of people having fun, eating, drinking and dancing. If you get past the striking visuals at its core this festival like many others is simply a way for people to pray for health, fertility and happiness. Special thanks to Tkyosam and TokyoSwan for joining me. Also to RoninDave sorry I didnt have any footage of you in there. Love you guys in a non gay way.
