All day Kawasaki action on 9 April at Silverstone test ride event

Promising an amazing fleet of brand new 2011 Kawasaki road bikes available for FREE demo rides on the public roads around the Silverstone circuit, the kick-off event of the 2011 On the Road tour certainly promises to be a day packed with all things Kawasaki.

With bikes from the entry level Ninja 250R, ER-6f and ER-6n plus Versys, there are plenty of reasons for those new to two wheels –and those returning - to get their riding gear together (and both parts of their driving licence!) for the all-day festival centred on the newly updated Stowe Circuit complex.

Mid-capacity test bikes include the ever popular Ninja ZX-6R, new Z750R and highly praised W800, while the fleet of bigger bikes underpins Kawasaki's image for performance an engineering quality. The Z1000 and new Z1000SX will be there to try as well as the mighty Ninja ZX-10R, the 1400GTR tourer, VN1700 cruiser and the 200+ horsepower ZZR1400.

Grabbing a bite to eat on the day will not be a problem and, while you take refreshment on-board, why not browse amongst the Kawasaki clothing and accessory display; or take a look at the MSS Colchester Kawasaki pit box display in the Stowe garage complex complete with 2011 Ninja ZX-10R BSB race bike… a great place to get some riding tips from Stuart Easton, Gary Mason, Chris Walker and Tom Sykes who will all be in attendance.

The Stowe circuit itself will be ringing out to the sound of Kawasaki's throughout the day, be they those of visitors who can pay a nominal fee of £25 for two 15 mins track sessions or those lucky enough to secure a ride on one of a fleet of track prepared Ninja ZX-6R Focused Events machines.

Squeals, skids and general "controlled mayhem" will be generated by Kawasaki sponsored stunt star, Craig Jones as he performs his amazing on-bike show during the day between time dedicated to his Skills Academy where visitors can learn one-on-one control techniques from the maestro himself.

Best vantage point on the day must surely be from the roof terrace of the recently completed hospitality area which has been set aside for the exclusive use of Kawasaki Riders Club members. They will also benefit from use of the hospitality area all day as well as the chance to go out on the Stowe track for a 15 minute session on their own bike completely free of charge.

Of course, like other Kawasaki events throughout the year, the KRC staff will be there to sign up new members and explain the hundreds of pounds worth of value that the newly launched club can deliver for the nominal £20 subscription fee, including a complimentary issue of the stunning new GO magazine.(And yes, if you join on the day, the hospitality is there for you to enjoy)

The day will be busy, of that there is no doubt. Apart from making sure you have your riding gear sorted and both parts of your licence available for inspection, why not ease the hassle a notch by pre registering on line.

The whole Kawasaki team looks forward to meeting and greeting visitors from 08.30 am on Saturday 9 April at the Stowe circuit on the Silverstone motor racing complex.
